It is unique among world spiritualities because of the integration of a non-dualistic metaphysics (the universe is an illusion) with a sophisticated psychology that presents the subtle complexities of the ego’s thought system. Although the Course uses Christian language, it deals with universal spiritual themes. It emphasizes that it is but one version of the universal curriculum. There are many others, all leading to peace.
